Beginner's Guide in winning Heroes of the Storm games

Heroes of the Storm is a free-to-play (FTP) game by Blizzard.
To be honest, playing Heroes of the Storm (also known as HotS) is easier than most of the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) games out there but the game is fun and has a very great potential. My years of experience in DotA has helped me win most of the games although I'm new to it, but it's not entirely similar to DotA and it makes the game unique to the rest.

For beginners who wants a guide in winning the game easy, here is what I have observed:

In-game levels:

The in-game levels are crucial in winning the game, the more levels your team has, the greater chance your team will wipeout the enemy team in just seconds. The HotS leveling system is universal to the team, meaning, each player has no independent levels, so whether you farm for experience or just stay in the base you will still get the same level since experience is shared.

Every team level gives you heroes additional HP, Mana, damage and all the stats within the game. So the secret? Unlike most of MOBA games, Heroes of the Storm requires farming for experience in early game (From level 1 to 10) by killing minions (creeps) in each lane, meaning, ganks (hero kills) only have few experience given in early stage.

Level 10 is when you will be able to activate your heroic skill (also known as ultimate skills in other games) after that you will be able to gank the enemy team easily. So ignore the heroes in early stage and just kill those minions spawning in the game for faster level up!

Following the objective:

Of course, to win  the game more effectively is to follow the objectives. Each map has its own objectives that you need to follow (instructions on how to play the objectives are shown in every loading screen before the game starts). This is when the teamwork will happen, farming for experience and then doing the game objective is your way in winning the game. That is why in early stage you need to be of advantage when it comes to level so that during the game clashes your team will have the advantage in terms of skills and stats.

Know your heroes:

Knowing is half the battle, so make sure to read your hero's abilities and talents and decide what to choose so that your team will be at an advantage in the game.

Winning the game is not that hard, you just need teamwork and more levels, that's all.

In Heroes Evolved Mobile, a shard is an in-game currency that lets you buy heroes. The heroes are namely: Nightshade, Pyrrhus, Lotus and Vince.
